Calling All Volunteers for the HomeWalk Sign-Making and Lanyard Party!

We’re excited about this year’s 5K walk/run to end homelessness – HomeWalk! Every year United Way of Greater Los Angeles hosts this wonderful event, bringing together thousands of individuals from across Los Angeles County to help raise awareness about homelessness.

Are you ready for HomeWalk 2012? Join United Way staff and HomeWalk volunteers for a fun party to help us all get ready together! We need YOUR HELP to…

1) Create motivational signs to be carried by HomeWalkers and

2) String “The Keys to Ending Homelessness” onto lanyards (these gifts will be given to runners & walkers crossing the finish line!)

The Sign-Making and Lanyard Party will be held on November 8^th from 4-8 pm at United Way’s Downtown Los Angeles office located on the 4th floor of 1150 S. Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Please bring an ID for check in and RSVP by November 6^th by emailing the names of attendees to jyas@unitedwayla.org
