United Way raises a majority of its dollars through workplace giving. This is not only more convenient for you, but it saves United Way overhead that can go toward nonprofit organizations that need your donations most. Workplace giving is easy. Every pay period, a portion of your check – in any amount that you like – is automatically deducted and sent to United Way.
Even a small amount of money can make a big difference to someone’s life. Take a look at what payroll donations can result in for United Way:

Matched Contributions Many companies match employee contributions, or even double an employee’s gift. With a match from your employer, your contribution would have an even greater impact on children, families, and communities throughout L.A. County.
