Flora Gil Krisiloff is LAHSA’s newest Commissioner!

Congratulations to Flora Gil Krisiloff on her appointment to the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission!  Flora currently serves as the Deputy on Homelessness and Mental Health to Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, and she is a major ally and partner of Home For Good.

For the past five years, she has developed significant policies and demonstration projects to address chronic homelessness in Los Angeles County through multi-agency collaborations, the integration of supportive health services, and permanent supportive housing with a housing first approach.  Two significant demonstration projects include Project 50 to move the 50 most vulnerable chronically homeless individuals off the streets of Skid Row and into permanent housing and Project 60, which aims to assist 60 vulnerable chronically homeless veterans on the west side.

Ms. Krisiloff is a Public Health Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees and M.B.A from theUniversityofCaliforniaatLos Angeles.
