Women Making a Difference

United Way Women Leaders walked away with the top awards from the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 17th annual Women Making a Difference ceremony recently. President and CEO Elise Buik won Nonprofit CEO of the Year while Women Leaders Jan Cloyde, Diane Dixon and Julia Gouw were named Volunteer of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Philanthropist of the Year, respectively.

The Women Making a Difference event honors extraordinary women from throughout the Greater Los Angeles area whose outstanding corporate and civic contributions are inspiring others to do their best.
