Hector V. Perez ­Roman



Hector V. Perez­ Roman is a National Board Certified teacher at Arleta High School where he teaches AP World History and Geography.

Hector was named a Teacher of the Year from the Los Angeles County of Education in 2015 and LAUSD in 2014.

While teaching, he established the Student Traveling Club, partnering with local community organizations, Explore America, and Education First to offer engaging educational traveling opportunities for all his students.

Hector has given students study abroad opportunities taking them to the 2013 Presidential Inauguration to various countries in Europe and beyond. This summer, he will travel with students to Boston, New York, Greece, Italy, and Spain.
