California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE)

The California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) program offers income-qualified customers a 20% discount off their monthly electric and natural gas bills. Care is funded through a rate surcharge paid by all other utility customers. Income qualifications may be adjusted each year depending on inflation.
