Home For Good: Ending Chronic and Veteran Homelessness in LA County by 2016

At the end of 2010, the Los Angeles Business Leaders Task Force released Home For Good, a comprehensive Action Plan to end chronic and veteran homelessness in the County of Los Angeles by 2016. Since its release, the plan has become the leading voice for ending chronic and veteran homelessness in Los Angeles County and has gained significant support from over 100 key stakeholders representing the public, private, nonprofit, business, government, faith and philanthropic sectors.

Home For Good is partnering with organizations and institutions throughout Los Angeles County that believe homelessness is a solvable problem. The hard work and commitment of various cross-sector leaders is making sure that Home For Good is moving towards accomplishing many of the goals laid out under the Action Plan.

At this year’s Home For Good Summit, we will be releasing a detailed report outlining achievements in the first year and a revised version of the Action Plan. The report will include comprehensive information on key achievements including important shifts in funding and housing placements for our chronically homeless and homeless veterans.

Today, February 21st, is the last day to register for the Summit, so Sign Up Today! If you cannot join us at this year’s event, make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter (#HFG12) for updates throughout the day!
