Home For Good Funders Collaborative Announces Request for Proposals

The Home For Good Funders Collaborative is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) that aligns public and private resources for permanent supportive housing.  The Funders Collaborative is an unprecedented partnership of 18 public and private funders, led by United Way of Greater Los Angeles, who have come together to align funds for permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless people.  The Funders Collaborative was created in alignment with the goals of Home For Good, the action plan to end chronic and veteran homelessness in L.A. County by 2016.

The RFP includes eight funding areas in which qualified organization can submit proposals.  Proposals are due April 20th (proposals for most RFP sections must be completed online), and applicants will be notified of the outcomes of their proposals by June 2012.  Potential applicants may attend an informational session on Tuesday, March 27th from 9:30-11:30am at United Way of Greater Los Angeles.  Please RSVP to crivera@unitedwayla.org to attend.

Please read the full Request for Proposals, and if you are interested in applying visit www.partnerunitedla.org.  If you are in Pasadena and are interested in applying, you will also need to complete this form.

*RFP materials for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) and the Department of Health Services resources will be posted to those respective websites shortly. Please check back in the next few days.
