Home For Good Summer Progress Report

Home For Good Summer Progress Report

Home For Good is now halfway into its first year and 86 cross-sector leaders have signed on to support the plan!

This quarter we are excited to announce that, on April 19th, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors voted to align the County’s efforts with Home For Good’s goals! In addition to other critical changes, the County will explore its ability to provide supportive services in housing chronically homeless individual, a shift which can potentially create more permanent supportive housing in our region.

This quarter we are also excited to share that Home For Good is currently at 46% to its Year One goal for housing chronically homeless individuals, and 43% to the goal for housing homeless veterans. This means that, to date, 789 chronically homeless individuals and 361 veterans have been housed.
