Homeless Count

Los Angeles County has the highest unsheltered homeless population in the nation, but we don't have to accept homelessness as an unsolvable issue. Together, we can help end this.

Join United Way of Greater Los Angeles, in partnership with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, for the annual 2018 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, a four-day mission to count our homeless neighbors starting on January 23.

Register now to be one of the 8,000 volunteers needed to conduct the 2018 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count!

United Way of Greater Los Angeles will be hosting a special early morning session on January 26. Volunteers will ride the Metro together, starting at Union Station, to count our homeless neighbors in Metro stations and platforms. Following the Homeless Count, we’ll be hosting an appreciation breakfast in Union Station.
