Meet Keith Gren
“PTSD got to me so bad, and boom I was homeless. I just kept walking, because I kept watching the sun going west trying to follow the sun. It took me nine years to fix the problem.”
Keith Grenn is a 14-year US Army Veteran who grew up here in Glendale and attended Hoover High School. After working at Lockheed, he entered the service and served 3 combat tours, becoming a decorated veteran and achieving the rank of Sergeant first class E-7. After years of homelessness he was able to get his life back after participating in the New Directions Veterans program, a partner organization of United Way.
