Last week, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously (a 5-0 vote) in support a second Home For Good motion. The motion adopts 10 recommendations for how the County can allocate their resources to permanent supportive housing, and over the next 90 days they will identify the specific resources and funding levels that they will dedicate to this end. This is a critical step in implementing Home For Good and securing the funds needed to fully fund permanent supportive housing for 12,000 chronically homeless people.
We would personally like to thank Gloria Molina, Mark Ridley-Thomas, Zev Yaroslavsky, Don Knabe and Mike Antonovich for their suport and their leadership last week.
