Emerging Leaders are committed to fighting poverty and work in all different sectors throughout Los Angeles. Emerging Leaders are under the age of 40 and give a minimum of $1,000 annually to United Way’s Creating Pathways out of Poverty fund. Emerging Leaders are not just young professionals; they are young leaders who have a vision for their future and community. Emerging Leaders enjoy social events, professional development opportunities, and service projects throughout the year.
Emerging Leaders will be the most generous generation of leaders greater Los Angeles has ever seen.
Emerging Leaders activate young leaders to create pathways out of poverty through a lifetime of generosity.
United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ mission is to permanently break the cycle of poverty for our most vulnerable neighbors: families, students, veterans and the homeless. United Way is invested in permanent solutions focusing on housing, education and income stability. Emerging Leaders volunteer activities and fundraising efforts are in support of United Way’s community impact initiatives.
On Tuesday, March 31st, the 2nd #EmergingLeadersLA event was greeted with some beach views. Special thanks to Cooley LLP in order to make this event possible.
