This longtime L.A. resident, spends her time spreading positivity anywhere she can and we’re lucky enough to have her on the team! Learn more about this special member of #TeamUnited.

How long have you been with United Way of Greater Los Angeles?

Officially, it will be 5 years in October but I was a temp with United Way off and on for about 2 years in between my many other wonderful temp assignments.

What inspires you the most with working at United Way?  

The passion that some of my colleagues have about the work that they are doing here at United Way, which just escalates my passion.

What is your most favorite thing that you have accomplished with United Way during your career here?

Being the face of the United Way and being a positive influence on my co-workers and everyone that I encounter in or out of the office.

What event are you looking forward to participating in this year?

Homewalk because this is the event that really shines a light on our mission.

What is your favorite snack?

Vanilla ice-cream with sliced bananas.

What’s your favorite motto?

“Life is simple, people make it hard.”

Where’s your favorite place in L.A.?

Metro Café in Culver City for breakfast.

What is your favorite thing to do on a weekend morning or after work hours?

Sitting out on my deck at home listening to my favorite music.

Is there a random fact about you that you want to tell us?

I have a greeting card business and I do Public Relations in the music industry.

Any fun hobbies?

I love cooking, dancing, traveling, and entertaining at home.

Who do you admire most and why?

I admire my younger sister Brenda because she is a single mom of two and she now is the proud parent of a Mechanical Engineer (my nephew) and my niece who’s a Journalist. They say it takes a village but, she did the bulk of it and I’m very proud of her.
