5.As the Education Program Officer at United Way of Greater Los Angeles, what are you most excited to accomplish in your position?

We’ve done a lot of policy and advocacy work in LAUSD (because it’s almost half of L.A. County students) but I want to build on the progress we’ve made in this district and expand our efforts to other areas of the region.

Lately it’s been peanut butter, honey and bananas on an English muffin.

I just started the second Game of Thrones book!!

Pink. No explanation needed.

Ride my bike, go to yoga, or let’s be honest, not leave my bed.

I have a black belt in karate, was a wrestler for two years, and I am beginning to explore boxing.

I admire anyone who is kind, politically-conscious, and intelligent! So, everyone at United Way.
