Meet Miriam Antonio
11th Grade, Fairfax Senior High School
United Way Student Leader
I am passionate about making positive change, helping others, motivating people, standing up for injustices and speaking up for what is right. I want to be a leader that can be a voice to the people who are afraid to speak up.
My dream and goal are to help bring positive changes in our communities. My inspirations that have led me to be the person I want to be are many. I’ve been inspired by many activists, advocates, martyrs, and amazing leaders. Ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
My dream for a better Los Angeles is to have as many people engaged in helping better their communities. I also dream of having equity in our schools, safer neighborhoods, less homeless veterans, more racial integration and cleaner streets. United we can do great things.
