Volunteers will beautify the campus of Edison Middle School, decorate the College and Career Center, participate in informational and creative workshops, create get well cards, and read with younger students. On the day of the event, volunteers can participate in up to two volunteer activities. Every volunteer will be served a light breakfast and a lunch and enjoy live entertainment.
(Can accommodate up to 100 volunteers)

More than 1500 community and corporate volunteers will make MLK Jr. Day of Service a “Day on, not a day off” as they revitalize and beautify the campus of Dorsey High School in Mid-City, Los Angeles. Volunteers will transform the campus by repairing and replacing dated and peeling murals, painting school buildings, and rehabilitating and expanding the gardens. Volunteers will also build benches, seedling tables and a gazebo for outdoor classrooms. (Can accommodate 1500 volunteers)
