Since 1948, United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ Loaned Executive Program has created a unique space to support fundraising campaigns. Over 150 companies and thousands of Loaned Executive participants have impacted our mission to end poverty through housing, education, and jobs.
Through robust training and management, Loaned Executive participants develop fundraising and leadership skills. Companies loaning employees benefit through extensive staff training and direct sales and presentation experience.
United Way controls expenses while meeting critical campaign needs during peak fundraising season by maximizing staff and volunteer efforts.

During the Campaign Year 2015 Loaned Executive Program, over 14,000 Angelenos were engaged through 500+ presentations, meetings, events, and thank yous at 70 companies.
Loaned Executives participated in a two week intensive training, which included speaker training and partner visits. Participants in the Program were given the opportunity to support and attend many of United Way’s largest events, including HomeWalk, Budweiser’s Made in America Festival, and Workplace Ambassador Forum.
