Carolyn Williams is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. She battled many personal demons (including substance abuse) and ended up homeless for 16 years. Thanks to your support of our permanent supportive housing programs, today she is off the streets, has overcome her addictions and serves as a source of strength and inspiration to other veterans. “Never give up,” she says. “Know that your life can change, but first you have to want it to change!”
