Women Leaders

United Way of Greater Los Angeles Women Leaders is dedicated to tackling the root causes of poverty and creating change in our communities. These remarkable women also seek to energize and inspire other women to take on leadership roles in business and the community.

Executive Membership

As an Executive Member of Women Leaders your annual gift of $2,500 to our Creating Pathways Out of Poverty Plan will:

• Move a homeless family off the street by covering their first month’s rent and security deposit.
• Help a student achieve her dream of college by providing one-on-one counseling and support with SATs and college applications.
• Give 8 struggling families the chance to increase their income through free tax preparation, and reclaim an average of $800 each.

Associate Membership

As an Associate Member of Women Leaders your annual gift of $1,000 to our Creating Pathways Out of Poverty Plan will:

• Provide 4 weeks of medical treatment for a chronically homeless person.
• Help a child graduate by providing her parents with the critical training needed to support her success in school.
• Teach 7 low-income adults how to manage their money and build strong credit.

Women Leaders Cabinet 2011-12

This group of prominent and respected businesswomen is responsible for the direction, growth and success of Women Leaders. The Cabinet sets the vision for the group’s work to create pathways out of poverty by energizing and inspiring women to make a difference as philanthropic and civic leaders, community advocates.
