State of Homelessness

Fundraising Goal of $10,000

LAHSA, in partnership with United Way, is hosting the State of Homelessness Town Hall. While COVID-19 prevents LAHSA from conducting the 2021 Unsheltered Homeless Count, we still want to provide the thousands of people who support our life-saving mission an opportunity to help our unhoused neighbors.

Project Room Key Recipient

We are raising funds for the United Way’s Home For Good Funders Collaborative. Your generous gift will provide flexible funding to on-the-ground homeless service providers working to bring unhoused individuals inside again. Case managers across Los Angeles County use funding from Home for Good to eliminate barriers that stand in the way of accessing long-term housing, such as apartment application fees, transportation to and from housing appointments, and move-in costs.

  • $25 – takes the first step in securing housing covering a rental application fee
  • $50 – gives someone their identity back by paying for a copy of their birth certificate
  • $100 – welcomes a neighbor home for good with essential housewares and supplies
  • $500 – helps a client clear the final hurdle to housing by covering a security deposit

Thank you for supporting people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County.
