2017 was a year filled with promise and excitement as well as many challenges. As a community, we’ve made significant progress towards ending homelessness and poverty throughout Los Angeles County, but our work is far from over.

There are still more than 57,000 homeless individuals living on the streets throughout L.A. County. And there are even more families who are still struggling to secure basic necessities needed to live stable lives and students who desperately need support to graduate college ready.

No one person can end poverty in L.A. County alone. But together, we have a fighting chance at creating a better future for all Angelenos. Every donation you make goes towards uplifting our community and creating pathways out of poverty for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Help us conquer the challenges in the year ahead by making a tax-deductible end-of-year donation to United Way of Greater Los Angeles. And thanks to an anonymous donor, every donation you make will be matched up to $10,000! You can help make the biggest impact now.
