Join United Way of Greater Los Angeles and Valero at the 7th Annual Fall into Literacy Book Festival on Saturday, September 16 at The Banning Museum in Wilmington, CA. The festival features free admission and fun for all ages!
This year’s theme, Viva Los Libros, is designed to fuel every child’s love for reading and writing. The festival will feature live entertainment, book signings, meet and greets with authors, a resource fair, and fun activities for the whole family.
Wilmington, an historically underserved community, is nestled between Torrance and Long Beach in L.A. County’s South Bay. Thanks to Valero’s philanthropic support, United Way of Greater Los Angeles has been able to make a collective impact in the community by creating a fun and inviting space for grade-level reading and by giving away more than 7,000 books in the last year alone.
The festival will also feature a resource fair with over 70 exhibitors connecting families to basic needs services in education, health care, and financial stability. For more information, visit https://www.wilmingtonbookfestival.com/.
