In 2018, United Way of Greater Los Angeles launched a campaign called Everyone In that believes ordinary people taking simple actions will be the force that ends the housing and homelessness crisis.

Since then, we’ve organized 75,000 people across the county who are committed to joining us this fight. One year later, we celebrated everything we have accomplished with a day of advocacy.

The morning kicked off with activations around town including a station where residents could make Welcome Home Kits for their neighbors coming off of the streets and into homes as well as advocacy training from organizers for those interested in moving forward with the campaign.

The day concluded with an evening celebration at Union Station in Downtown L.A., during which nearly 600 attendees got to experience stories of homelessness in virtual reality, write inspiring notes to their homeless neighbors on a mural wall, and see a map projection featuring housing that’s been built countywide.

It’s never too late to get involved. Sign up at http://everyoneinla.org/
