United Way of Greater Los Angeles would like to extend a big thank you to Kevin Demoff and the Los Angeles Rams for including us in their ninth annual Charity Kickoff Luncheon. It was a great afternoon that started with the entire Rams team taking a stance on homelessness with us by entering the room through our Everyone In door.
“You can see as our players came through that door, it’s a reminder to all of us that we can do more to help solve this problem as the most pressing problem in our community, said Demoff, Rams' COO and EVP of Football Operations.
The afternoon continued with over 1,000 guests dining with Rams players at their tables while listening to a conversation on community and football, featuring head Coach Sean McVay. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in various raffles and a live auction that raised funds for the Rams Foundation.
The event didn't just highlight the Rams' continued support of the Los Angeles community, it showcased the importance of getting everyone in to end homelessness.
“Talk within your organizations about what we can all do to join United Way as we fight homelessness," said Demoff, who is also Campaign Chair of United Way's Board of Directors. "Because it is an unbelievable chance for us to help grow this region.”
