400 lunches made.
At United Way of Greater Los Angeles, we transform lives and communities by creating pathways out of poverty through education, housing and financial stability for our most vulnerable neighbors.
But change doesn’t happen alone. That’s why we teamed up with PATH — a United Way partner dedicated to providing housing and customized supportive services for our homeless neighbors — to help make and distribute lunches in L.A. County.
Leadership Society’s Sip and Serve on April 29, combined our two favorite things: brunch and volunteering. Attendees enjoyed a delicious brunch at The Park, a creative co-working space in Downtown Los Angeles, while working hard to pack more than 400 lunches — which were immediately distributed throughout L.A. County to the people who needed them most.
A special thank you to our sponsors Anheuser-Busch, Target and San Antonio Winery as well as the volunteers who dedicated their Saturday to this event.
