On Saturday, May 18, more than 10,000 Angelenos gathered in Downtown L.A.’s Grand Park with one mission in mind: bring everyone in to end homelessness.

Thanks to you and thousands of other supporters, we raised more than $1.1M and counting to help further our goal of ending homelessness for good by helping our most vulnerable neighbors move off of the streets and into homes.

HomeWalk 2019 wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible commitment of our top 10 teams —Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, SoCalGas, MWest Holdings/Polaris, Los Angeles Rams, City National Bank, Home For Good, JPMorgan Chase, Team MRT, East West Bank, and The World is a Safe Place led by Jim White, HomeWalk Steering Committee Chair — which collectively raised 80% of the total funds!

Thanks to our sponsors — including the Los Angeles Rams, Everyone In, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, and more — attendees enjoyed a safe and memorable event complete with Los Angeles Rams Team Captains meet-and-greet, Michelob Ultra beer garden, and a post-walk family fun zone on the main lawn featuring live music, free activities, interactive elements, food trucks, and Rams Kid Zone with face painting and more.

If you didn't get a chance to participate and want to make a difference, please donate to HomeWalk by visiting homewalkla.org. Fundraising is open until May 31, 2019.

While HomeWalk is over, our mission is not. United Way of Greater Los Angeles relies on volunteers and supporters to help homeless individuals get off the streets and into homes, to help students graduate prepared for college and careers, and to help low-income individuals and families achieve the financial foothold needed to thrive.

Don’t wait until the next HomeWalk to make a difference. Join us on June 22 for United Way’s Annual Day of Action. Click here to register or check out our other volunteer opportunities.
