United Way is working to ensure all L.A. County students graduate ready for college and a sustainable career by fighting for better educational opportunities, campaigning for improved policies, and driving systems change.
United Way led local district policy changes in L.A. County schools that resulted in an increase of students graduating meeting UC/CSU admission requirements since 2011.
More students in L.A. County are graduating high schools with a 7% increase in graduation rates since 2011.
Students in L.A. County have built confidence and skills through more than 70,000 direct experiences with employers in the last 5 years.
