STRIDES TOWARD ENDING HOMELESSNESS
United Way's leadership helped pass both Prop HHH and Measure H — securing nearly $5 billion in civic funding over the next ten years. That’s enough to build permanent, supportive housing for nearly every one of our homeless neighbors.
Through cross-sector partnerships, we’ve raised $34 million in private donations since 2011 and leveraged over $1 billion in public resources for homeless services over the last six years.
United, we provided housing to 40,000+ of our homeless neighbors since 2011.
Developed a coordinated system in 2011 to match homeless residents to housing that fits their needs. This system is now used countywide by more than 130 homeless service providers.
Let’s get #EVERYONEIN housing and off the streets.
