United Way of Greater Los Angeles is committed to unleashing the power and potential of people in L.A. County so that we can end and prevent homelessness, achieve educational equity and ensure economic mobility for our vulnerable neighbors.

Each year we partnered with nonprofit organizations serving L.A. County’s most vulnerable residents by investing in seeding systems change, strengthening capacity to serve, and supporting aligned advocacy efforts. We do this through the release of seasonal and strategic funding opportunities that respond to current community needs and opportunities.

A part of our strategic investments approach, UWGLA hosts the Home For Good Funders Collaborative which brings together public agencies and private philanthropy to invest in solutions to homelessness in L.A. County. This table provides strategic funding throughout the year to support L.A. County organizations that advocate for and serve people experiencing homelessness. More information about funding opportunities will be added to this page and shared across relevant United Way listservs as they are released.
